Come to Covenant Hospice for a craft activity for school aged kids (ages 5 years to 14 years). Become an artist for the day and have a great time decorating terra cotta flower pots provided by Covenant Hospice.
This is a great way for children to learn about helping others while having fun! Covenant Hospice will present brief, age-appropriate educational highlights about the hospice program. We will also have a music therapist joining us. She will direct the children in writing their own lyrics to a familiar tune; they will also enjoy fun musical movement by doing silly motions to silly songs, etc.
The Junior Flower Pot Project is hosted by Covenant Hospice as a means of support for the 8th
Annual Garden Gala. With your consent, the flower pot decorated by your child will become the
property of Covenant Hospice. Parents will be given the first opportunity to purchase their child’s
project for a minimum donation of $20. If purchased, the flower pot will remain property of Covenant
Hospice to display as ‘SOLD’ in the Memory Garden at the event and can be picked up the week of
June 24 – June 28, 8 am – 5 pm at Covenant Hospice.
If not purchased, the flower pot will be included in the silent auction at the Garden Gala on June 22, 2013.
